"Not Enough Space on Disk" error

Using Access 2003 on XP SP2.
After expanding the columns in a table and trying to save I get an error,
"not enough space on disk." I have plenty of space on my local drive,
emptied the Temp folders, and even temporarily gave "Everyone" full
permissions.
Then I copied the DB from the server (SBS2003) to my local drive and it
works fine. Is there a setting somewhere that limits the shared folder size
or a certain user that I'm not aware of that I have to give permissions to?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Couple of things I can think of.

1) Whoever created your user profile on your desktop limited the space
allocated to you on your local drive, in which case any large file has to be
stored on a network.

2) What's the size of your drive, and how full is it?

As to whether you can change the setting, if number 1 is applicable--doubtful.

I'll try to look through our Group Policy to see if anything like that was
set by default.

The total size of the drive is 120 G and I have 80G left.

Thanks for the suggestion.
