"Not enough space on temporary disk"

You'll have to give us more info, otherwise I would have to give you the
'smart aleck' answer> Get more temporary space.
What are you doing when you get this error? How much hd space do you have
available where the db is located? Are you trying to perform an action with
a db on a floppy? If so, copy the db from the floppy to the hard drive to
perform your action. The floppy does not have enough space to perform the
action.

The database is on a 2K server with 20+ GB free space.
The client is accessng the data via MS Access 2002 with SP2
the client box has 7+GB free space.
I can supply a screen shot if it will help.
