Not enough system resources to display completely

Shanthi

I am using Office XP on win2000 prof. When i open an excel work book, it
prompts "Not enough system resources to display completely".

My system has 1GB ram and 2000MB virtual memory.

My work book has some calculations & cell references from other workbooks
also.

I have gone through the article given by microsoft support
"http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=313275" with no luck.

Please let me know, to fix this issue.

Hi Shanthi,

Please note it is just my GUESS.
It may occur because of the virus.
But first of all, please display "Task manager", then examine whether extra
software is running.
Please also confirm the resource meter of the System.
If it only occurs when a specific work book is opened, it is possibility
that the workbook has been damaged.

Hi Colo,

Thanks for your fast response. I have checked as you said and found all are
normal, no other software is running.

It happens for all workbooks not for that particular.

Shanthi,

Have you tried disabling all of your add-ins? I have seen this problem

If there are a lot of sheets in the workbook, it could be due to
limitations in excel.
