Not enoughmemory to print

The dinousaur asks a question:

Running a Pentium I 75 MHZ machine running Win95 with
Office 4.3, with a 1GB hard drive with 135 MB of free
space.
Office applications will not open. dialogue box says:

Error
Not enough memory to print

When trying to open Excel files, the error meesage is:

error installing VBA files (48)

Dreaded thought is to uninstall Office and reinstall from
CD. (possibly lose data)

Calamitous thought: Format the Hard Drive and start over.

What are the limits on replacing or adding a modern large
capacity Hard Drive?

Any help greatly appreciated

Your pc, is a tad old, and as such the bios will not support a modern large
capacity hd. It probably has a limit of some 9gb, you will probably only be
able to purchase a used hd, as I don't believe they are produced new
anymore. The amount of free space is now of a size to give problems.
If you buy a new pc you can allways install the current hd as a slave, in
order to transfer yr files, assuming you dont have them backed up to disk.
Bite the bullet and retire yr pc - it deserves it!
