not even sure

i'm a new user and am not sure project is what I need. I
am respsonsible for tracking, scheduling travel for my
department. I am to keep up with costs for each trip and
present reports as such.
is this the correct software for this? I need to be able
to show a timeline/calendar of all trips planned. should
I make each trip a project itself or could each trip be a
task with sub-tasks? I need to accomplish several things
for each trip.
please advise

Hi,

I suspect not. I would use Excel if there aren't too many bookings, or if
you do bookings every day you need a database solution. Either buy one or
get one developed.

If you can help this person, then why don't you post the answer in the
newsgroup so that everyone can benefit? This newsgroup is a forum where we
all help one another publicly. I would suggest you start posting some real
answers instead of merely advertising your services.
