not genuine message for Office

have had a valid copy of Office 2007 purchased directly from Microsoft for
some years and has worked OK - now I am getting a popup message - "this copy
not genuine" - have tried to contact MS help but cannot get past the "insert
Product Number" page - when I insert same it is not accepted - cannot fine
help phone number without getting past this page - please help

Further to above - I ran belarc advisor and the product key installed agrees
with the one on the yellow label on the box and the disc has the legit MS
hologram
