You can find each of these in XL Help ("Excel keyboard shortcuts" topic):

Current date: CTRL-;

Delete: CTRL-k

Start a new line: CTRL-OPTION-RETURN

Control+; - Just like on the PC
Delete row and shift lower rows up?

Control/Right-Click the row number, select Delete - just like the PC, or
Select the row, Edit> Delete - just like the PC, or
Select any cell in the row, do as either of the above, select the option of
your choice from the dialog that pops up - just like the PC
Do mac equivalent of "alternate enter" to wrap text in cell?

This one's a little different :) Command+Option+return

All this & more is documented in Excel> Help - keyboard shortcuts.

Thank you! Your answers were MOST important. My problem is that when I click "help" I don't have the option of "Keyboard shortcuts"

Type that phrase - or whatever you need help on - into the Search Box then
press return. The hits will be listed in the Topics panel of the Help
window.
