Not highlighting dates in navigator for December 2004 onwards

My director is using Outlook 2002 which isn't Bolding
dates in the navigator window from December 2004 onwards?
Does anyone know why it's not doing this?

The bolding only happens for 2 months into the past and 10 months into the
future. The Dec. 2004 dates will eventually become bold, starting in
February (10 months prior).
