You can try a repair (Office Setup option under control
PAnel, Add/Remove Programs) but it amy or may not work.
It will be time consuming, but I would just uninstall and
then reinstall. It's the easiest way (long term) to
ensure that you have a clean setup.
You can use the Office "Save my Settings Wizard" (found
under the Start Menu in the Office Tools folder) to save
and reinstall any customized Registry settings you have.
I would also just install every option and feature to run
from disk, even if you won't be using them often. The
theory behind the "run first time" and "run from CD"
options is great, but in my experience it doesn't work
all that well and you end up with fewer headaches by just
installing everything the first time. In most people's
cases, HD space is not at a premium.
