Not performing the printing preference "Reverse Page Order"

Word for Mac 2004 used to perform the reverse page order preference.
It does not now even though it is checked. I assume a preference file
is corrupted. Does anyone know how to correct this?

If reverse printing is checked in both Word options and in printer options,
they cancel each other out. Check that first, I think that was the solution
in an earlier report of this.

But for how to test prefs, if that isn't the problem, see here:

(hit refresh a few times in Safari, or use a different browser)
