Not plotting missing data as zeros on chart

I'm using Excel 97,

I'd like to line plot data some of which is the result of a formula e.g.
=IF(SMALL(N$6:N$79,ROW()-5)=0,"",SMALL(N$6:N$79,ROW()-5))

However the cells which contain "", are still displayed as zeros on the line
plot. Can I avoid this without manually removing the formulas with this
result ?
