Not printing all records

M

Mary Fran

Hello. I have a report with a 2 column subreport for items in the detail.
There is room for 30 items to print and I have 50 items so assumed the last
20 would go onto page 2. There is no page 2. What am I missing? It just
ignores the ones that don't fit.
Thank you.

Mary,
Select the subreport on the main, and set the GanGrow to Yes. (you don't "enter" the
subform... just select it.That should force the subreport to expand to show all 50
records.
Without GanGrow, the subreport is limited by the physical size of the subreport
borders.

When I do that I lose the 2 columns - I get all records on 5 pages but only 1
column.

Subreports with columns are most easily generated to display "across then
down" rather than "down the across".
