not printing characters completely

Problem seems to be confined to MS Word. When I try to print a document
prepared in Word, some of the letters or characters are lopped off at the
top. It is usually whole sentence or more within a paragraph. Can this be
an alignment problem? All other type of print jobs are fine, even printing
from MS Works

Most likely the paragraph spacing is set to an Exact amount that is too
small for the font size.
