You could have an add-in intercepting the Print command in Word.
To see if this is the case:
Go to Start/Run and run the following command:
winword /a
Note the space before the forward slash.
When Word starts try printing. If your document prints then start Word
without the /a switch and go to Tools/Templates and Add-ins. If you
have any add-ins listed then deselect them one at a time and try
printing. If Word prints then you can move the template out of the
Startup folder to prevent it from loading when Word starts.
Word recognizes two Startup folders:
- Office\Startup: located in the Office installation path or profile
depending on your os and how Office was installed
- Word Startup: this location can be found under Tools/Options/File
Locations.
