We have a user on a laptop that's running WinXP SP2; Office2K3 SP2. Our
environment is Win2K3 & Exchange 2K3. When the user's in the office, she can
access her Outlook email perfectly through the Outlook application. She
always receives the latest email responses of the day/date. When she's home
and VPN's in, VPN successfully connects but when she launches the Outlook
Application, the last email she has in Outlook is dated September 27. About a
month ago, it dated June 15th. We've had her select Send/Receive but the
email doesn't update. Yes, she can access all of her email through the
extranet (OWA) when at home or on the road. But she prefers to open the
Outlook application when she's at home or on the road, VPN'd in. The VPN
connection connects successfully. Does anyone know why the VPN connected
Outlook application does populate the latest emails into the Inbox? Does
'Cached Exchange Mode', which is checked, have any bearing on this issue?
Thanks in advance for your response!
