E mails that are undeliverable - either because of a spelling mistake or
because the contact has left the company and the e mails are being
rejected/blocked.

Not all mail servers support returning undeliverable e-mails. Some simply
drop them. If the company is using Exchange, they have a way to block
undeliverable messages for long deleted mailboxes.
