Not receiving email from exchange server

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I'm using Entourage to connect to the exchange server at the university where I am a PhD Student. On Monday at 11:40, I stopped receiving email. New mail would show up fine online, and calendar and contacts were fine in Entourage. When attempting to help me, the department IT guy deleted and recreated my account in Entourage which resulted in Entourage showing me no email, no calendar, no contacts, no nothing! I get no error messages as to why the sync or connection fails. Can anyone help?
This happened after a colleague opened my calendar on her PC, but I doubt it is related.

Serveral people in the group have reported issues with Exchange 2007 SR1
Rollup 6. Can you ask your Exchange admin whether there could be a
chance that this update (which came out recently) was applied to your
server??

You could also connet through OWA, and in your Webmail page, use Options
(op right corner) then About (left-side panel) to see what version your
server is running.

Corentin, Thank you for your response. I tried to look in OWA, but am still not sure if the Exchange server has been updated to the "Exchange 2007 SR1 Rollup 6" you mention. I see this info when I look:
Mailbox server Microsoft Exchange version: 8.1.240.0
Client Access server operating system version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1
Microsoft Exchange Client Access server version: 8.1.240.0
Other Microsoft Exchange server roles currently installed on the Client Access server: Hub Transport

Also, I tried moving some of my email online into a new folder and that folder then showed up in Entourage (!). I still have nothing in my inbox and nothing in my calendar though.

thanks again, Marie

I'm having similar problems. Items in the InBox and some other folders sync but most do not. No calendar items will sync. I've emptied the cache on individual folders and the whole server. I've deleted the account and added it back again. Nothing helps.

I'm on Entourage version 12.1.5 (081119).

I signed up for the Entourage for Web Services beta over the weekend hoping this would be a fix for things. But, my connect dashboard still says "PENDING". Is the beta program still going on?
