I have 2 email addresses in Outlook 2003 with Cox (server). My first
(e-mail address removed) – no problems (waldorfedu is my user name). Second
(e-mail address removed) numerous problems but I am not receiving emails addressed there.
Have spent hours with Cox (6 phone calls) but they said eventually the
problem is nothing to do with them, Microsoft told me to contact Gateway and
Gateway says it is not their problem. So apparently it is solely mine - I
have done so many things that it is difficult to keep track but somewhere a
setting has been changed or something is corrupted. I am not a techie so if
you answer please provide details of what I need to do. Obviously I have
checked adding email accounts etc, etc. With Cox techie advised me to open
Outlook Express and see if I could receive emails to (e-mail address removed) and I could
without problem but I forwarded it to Outlook and again not received –
thanks. (XP 2GB RAM). Outlook came preinstalled so I assume I cannot
uninstall.
