Problem: Can send but not recieve emails.
Duration: Last week.
Also: 1 or 2 emails have filtered through which has delayed my response to addressing the problem.

Has anyone experienced this and can they offer the steps they took to solve it?

Do you have some kind of webmail that lets you see if messages are
sitting on the server and are just not being downloaded into Entourage?

If that's the case, try control-clicking your Inbox and choosing Repair
Message List.

Hi Adam, I have gone to the webmail server "Squirrel Mail" and there werent any of the missing emails on this.
When I send mail I get the following message(some of the time but not all the time)

Error
Unable to add message to IMAP mailbox. The corresponding local folder will be used instead.
Error: - 17495

Then how do you know you're missing emails? I presume the senders told
you? How many senders are you talking about? How many services are they
on? You should talk to your provider and give them times and dates of
missing emails so they can check their logs.

Talk to your provider about this too.

I have not received emails from clients and sent myself a test email from another account to check and it didnt come through.
I have just spoken to my ISP who says its not their issue because emails are sending, incoming emails are the problem. They suggest I talk to the email hosting company, it that who you meant?

All that aside what does the error message tell us?
