Not receiving emails

Version: 2004 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Some of my email contacts are sending me emails but I am not receiving them. They are not bouncing back so I think the problem is at my end. Why would some emails not reach my inbox?

They could be filtered by your e-mail provider. Some servers are a
little to proactive when it comes to filtering what they consider spam.
Some servers even silently reject all e-mails coming from certain
domains for the same reasons.

You don't say what sort of email account you have - some ISPs provide spam filtering that can be quite zealous.

Can you ask those senders to send an email to you to an alternative email account to make sure that THEIR email reaches YOU.

If it does, it suggests that the spam filtering is an issue. Some providers like MobileMe will allow you to notify them if you have such problems and they will add senders to a safe list.

Thanks.

Well I'm using Entourage 2004 for Mac Version 11.4.0. and I'm using Safari for internet.
I have done all the logical things, like I say some emails reach me and some don't.
Any idea who and how to contact about filtering spam?
