Not regocnising an e-mail address as 'me'

Hey,

I've recently noticed that at work (Office 2003 and Exchange Server (not
sure of the version, I am not in that team)) one of the rules I use doesn't
work for emails I receive that are addressed to my email address rather then
my exchange account/name. This rule puts all mail from a group of people in
folder A unless it was sent only to me. This rule works when the email was
sent to my exchange account/name from people inside the company though when
it's addressed from outside to my email address it doesn't work.

After thinking about this I have also realised that any email I receive that
has been addressed to my email address (rather then the account/name)
includes me in the To list when I select 'Reply All'

Both these situations have lead me to think that mail coming to me is only
picked up as being sent to 'me' when the exchange account/name is used. When
the email address is used I get the email though it seems to not know that it
was sent to me.

Is this something to do with the exchange setup, or my outlook setup? or
something else?

Thanks
