Not seeing objects

Hi - We have a multi user computer where each member of the family has
their own account. This works fine on my husband's Microsoft Word and
worked fine on mine until I let my daughter play around on my
account. I cannot see an inserted object unless I select print
preview. For example, I use Microsoft Equation Editor quite a bit,
but all I see in the document in edit mode is a box, until I select
File/Print Preview. How can I fix this? TIA!

Tools, Options, View, check the box for "Drawings" in the Print and Web
Layout options section. This si for 2003 and prior, if you are using 2007,
hopefully these instructions will point you in the right direction.

Hi - I already had the Drawings box checked, but I printed off the
settings on my husband's account and compared to mine and found that
he did not have the Picture placeholders box checked in the Show
section. Once I unchecked that box, I was able to view the objects.
