Not Send original mail - Custom Form

Hello.
In a Custom Form, when The user click "Send Mail", I create a mail's copy
(change some properties) and send it.
I don't want send the original mail, but only the copy.
Is it possible?
I receive always two mail.
My test script is in "Function Item_Send ()"

I use Outlook 2003

....is it possibile with the code "Item_Send = False"....
Now I want close my original mail with "Item.Close 1" but if i put it in
"Item_send" function I receive an error:
"The Item.Close command cannot be performed during a Item.Send event"

objInsp.Close 1
