Not-sharp Picture Manager Photos

When I display .JPG files, the images onscreen are not as sharp as presentations by other photo handler software. In previous viewers, images were very sharp. I'm comparing apples & apples, i.e., image size, etc

Has anyone had a similar experience. I'm really disappointed with MS Photo Manager in Office 2003

HELP, if possible

Office 2003 Picture Manager is what it says "manager" and not much more. It is not an editor with options of auto contrast, etc... So you are actually comparing apples to oranges in contrast to Photo editing software such as JASC Print Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Elements or any others
To actually edit photo's you will need to aquire edting software.
