Not showing grouping header

Is it possible to remove the grouping header in Outlook 2003? I want to
still group by conversation, but the grouping header just takes up too
much room.

As a follow up to this, is it possible to have the "stagged" thread look
as in OE or Thunderbird in Outlook?
