Am trying to find a formula that will automate calculations based on dept and
attendance.
Attendance is noted by X and make ups by M. Blank means did not attend
Want to look at column B and find count of dept 1234 and then look at column
D and find count of X to show me how many people attended. Would then like
to do same for the blanks and Ms. There are 7 main departments and about 13
smaller dept. who would fall into an 8th dept. category and about 300 people
total. This 8th category would be greater than dept 2050 and less than dept
2007, but would include a dept. 2010.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
