I have the following client-only rule in Outlook:
Apply this rule after I send the message
move a copy to the "My Sent Items" folder
"My Sent Items" is a pst. Our IT deptartment strictly limits the size of
our storage. It is important to me to archive copies of everything that I
send. This rule prevents me from having to manually move items from the Sent
Items on the server to a pst.
The rule has been working fine for years across several versions of Outlook.
I just updated to Outlook 2003 (11.5608.5606) and now I find that the rule
does not get executed when I am working offline.
I have also found that the rule is not executed when using "file"/"send" from
another Office application.
Can anyone suggest a workaround?
