I never use notes in Outlook 2k, but now I suddenly have a note. I didn't
made it and no-one else has access to my mailbox.

The title of the note is:
"Nothing is what it seems to be"

The text of the not is:
"Some hours have past since we last spoke on the phone. I am currently lying
in bed and am, in a way, tired. I am tired of..." etcetera, etcetera.

Is it possible that we've some kind of conflict on our Exchange 2k server?
Or do we have a virus?

Thanks already!

Unlikely, especially if you are the only one and this is just a single
occurance. Can you see when it was created? Also note that the item could
have been created by an accidental drag & drop to the Notes folder.

I think it was created on the 17th of May, because that was the date I saw
when I opened the note this morning.
I'm almost sure that it wasn't created bij drag & drop.

How is it structured? Just text as in body no typed timestamps and "-" and
"=" symbols and such to devide content from other (meta)data?

To be sure check your permissions settings on the Notes folder and keep an
eye on it to see if it happens again.

It is just text, no typed timestamps and no "-" or "=" symbols or something
like that.
I'm the only one who has permissions on the Notes folder. Standard and
anonymous don't have any permission on this folder.

It happened one time before. That was about 1 month ago. I thougt I did
something wrong and deleted the note.
