I find myself confused about Note Flag Summary pages. Either there's
something I'm not getting (probable), or I'm trying to use them in unintended
ways (possible).
I'd like to keep detailed project outlines in One Note. At any given time,
most of the items on these lists are not yet todos, because they're dependent
on something else being done that isn't yet, or premature for some other
reason. I'd like to use a note flag to mark the items that ARE ready to do,
and I have a series of flags that I use with different kinds of task items.
(I'm implementing David Allen's "Getting Things Done" ideas, if anyone cares.)
So, it seems like the Note Flag Summary page ought to be perfect -- I
produce it, print it, stick it in my planner, and go -- with a nice, neat
categorized list of items that are ready to act on.
It's the next step that I'm confused about -- is there any way to "refresh"
the summary page without redoing it? Ideally, I'd be able to delete items
(or reflag them) on the summary page, and the action I took would be
reflected in the original position.
Do I just need to create a new note flag summary page every time I want to
refresh?
Sorry to be so wordy…
