I assume you mean when you click "create summary page"
If you go to tools->options-> noteflags you will see some options for
specifying the behavior of this feature. You can choose to have the original
noteflags "dimmed" when you create a summary page. This effectively gives you
only one active version of a noteflag (on the new summary page) and that will
be the only one displayed in any further summary pages you create, the old
dimmed ones won't be displayed.
