Notebook disappeared...Bug?

Started One Note 2007, and my notebook was gone. Some files were in the
misplaced section, while others were just gone. This happened one other
time, however, it was only one page missing and I replaced. Any suggestions
on where I can find all my files? Thanks.

Click File | Open Backup and see if the old information is still there.

Yes, they are there. (phew!) How do I restore them or the whole notebook?

Also when I tried creating a new notebook (with a different name) I am
getting this message "The folder with the notebook name you specified already
exists. Do you want to use that folder for your new notebook? Any existing
files in that folder may be overwritten by files in the notebook template you
have chosen, if the files have the same name." Should I continue? Thanks
again.

I would *not* continue in that case. If you want to reuse an existing
folder in order to reopen it up as a Notebook, right-click on the top-level
folder in Windows Explorer, and select "Open as Notebook in OneNote".

Or use File | Open Notebook from within OneNote and navigate to that
folder.
