Notebook Layout View Freezing

Hi:

I would like to give the Notebook View a chance, I really would but each
time I try and use it, I Word freezes with the Œspinning
pizza/beachball¹-can¹t remember which! Otherwise World (2004) works fine-no
issues or freezes. Seems very specific to Notebook View. Can anyone help?

Hi Guy,

I haven¹t heard about this happening before so there must be some
problem/conflict in your system. I suggest working through the procedures
listed here: <http://word.mvps.org/MacWordNew/TroubleshootingIndex.htm>
(If using Safari, hit Refresh once or twice; or use Internet Explorer for
this site.)

Start with the Damaged Preferences article and the Global Templates &
Add-Ins article, but it could be almost anything.

Try renaming your Normal Template.

Notebook View relies on the presence of nine Notebook styles that may not be
in your Normal Template.
