Notebook on Vista machine goes read-only over network

I am using hamachi to set up VPN and share notebooks which has been working
successfully between XP desktops and laptops at work. At home I have a
Vista machine and can open and sync my home notebook onto my office machine
and my laptop but on both machines the One Note Notebook shows up as read
only - all of it loads and it syncs but thats it.. Is there some special
Vista setting on my home machine I need to set to allow this notebook to be
read/write? I have no problem with the XP machines going both ways to and
from the laptop and desktop.

Are you able to create/edit files on the share from the machine on which
the notebook opens as read-only (try creating a text file and editing it
with notepad)? If not, it is likely that you need to configure the share
to allow write access. Once the share is configured for write access,
OneNote should work.
