notebook section titles

When I first created a notebook file, I gave title names to a few of the sections. Now that I'm back in that file and wanting to title other sections and/or edit the titles of the existing sections, I can't figure out how to do it. Nothing I try lets me get the cursor to the title section of the page (I can name and choose a color for the tabs on the right, but I can't get to the top of the notebook page itself to create a title). I'm new to Mac and to Notebook--any help would be most appreciated.

AFAIK, unless you've protected the document, you should be able to click
on the title and edited it.

Check the Tools menu - do you have an "Unprotect Document..." item?

....One other "unless""-)...

If you've switched to Print Layout view or Publishing Layout view your
"titles" are being treated as Headers and are in a different "layer" than
the regular text.

If you're in Print Layout, dbl-click the Header, then edit the text,
Dbl-click in the body or use the Header's Close button when done.

If in Publishing Layout view click the Master Pages tab (lower right corner
of the document window) edit your Header, then click the All Contents tab to
go back to the page content.
