Notebook summary log?

J

Jimmy

I'm wanting to use OneNote to keep track of my day-to-day activities, so I
take notes on everything I do and then file it under a section on the
notebook corresponding to whatever project that activity deals with.

What I really, really need is a page or section that will keep a
chronological log of ALL my notes so that I can track what I've done
throughout the day. My short-term memory really hampers my efficiency and
this would help a lot.

I know that I can do this in a convoluted manner by tagging all my notes and
then creating a summary page of the tagged notes after searching for them,
but this is a hassle. I need to be able to just look at a master log page
that updates dynamically with any entry I make on another page in that
section/notebook.

Anybody know how to do this in OneNote, or any other program?

Thanks in advance!

Jimmy,
If you are using OneNote 2007, you might want to check out the OneNote
calendar from Einstein Technologies. It shows the dates you added and edited
pages on a calendar. You can click the entries on the calendar and see a
preview of the page, or double click it and see the actual page in OneNote.

If this sounds like something that might help you out, check it out here:

Glad to hear it. I usually find it by Googling for you, which brings up the
old link. I'll put this link in my notes page on OneNote answers :)
