Notes Contents Erased

Whenever I create a Note in Outlook, the note syncs to my Pocket PC, but the
text is gone, both in Outlook and on PPC. I can see the Note with the first
line/title only, no contents.

If I originally create the Note on my Pocket PC, no problems, i.e. syncs OK
and can read note on both Outlook and PPC.

Due to this behavior, all of my Notes that I had created in Outlook got
erased when I synced for the first time!!!

Outlook 2003/Exchange 2003. Installing Office 2003 SP2 now.

I can't imagine that MS allows:
Buy Pocket PC
Install ActiveSync easily and presumably sync successfully the first time.
Find out a day later when looking for a Note that all your Notes are empty.
Must be more to the story.
Maybe fonts selected in Outlook for Notes. My Notes font was set to Comic
MS Sans; I changed it to Arial to no avail.

In ActiveSync, I've set the conflicts option to: 'leave the item unresolved.'
Thus, when conflicts happen, which is very rare, I can decide myself which
one should overwrite the other. I've never had any Notes conflict.

I do use the Exchange mailbox.
