Notes do not appear when projects are opened
The issue I am facing is ‘notes’ are not shown on projects within a master
project file or when projects are newly inserted. This issue was sporadic
before and now is happening every time a PM opens their MPF or inserts a
project. These ‘notes’ are entered on the Project Summary Line and we use a
macro to save the notes into Project Server.
The notes that do not show in project can be seen in the DB as well as the
reports we have created using SRS. The notes can also be seen when in MS
Project if the project is opened instead of inserted. If the PM reenters
notes the original entries are lost and the new ones still are not present
after restarting the application.
We are running MS Project Pro. 2003 and MS Project Server 2003.
Any suggestions or help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
