Notes in Outllook 2003 Gone. Help!

Tried importing email from OE; a mess ensued; tried restoring the PST file;
things got worse; finally restored the entire drive from a Ghost backup.

Somewhere in there I lost all Outlook Notes. Probably due to related synch
problems with my SmartPhone.

Is there a way of importing just Notes if I go back through backup files?

Anything else I should try?

Open a backup copy of your PST, open the Notes folder it contains, select
your notes and drag the selection to your default Notes folder. All done.
