Notes not showing in PWA Tasks page

[Stumped]

I have SP2a for Project Server 2003 and SP2 for MSP 2003. In Options I have
Any task info changes selected in the Collaborate tab.

Question: I enter a note and for a task and publish. That note appears in
the My Task Page in PWA. I make a change, or add a note to another task, I
Publish New and Changed Assignments, and I do not see that note change in
PWA. If I publish All information it does not update the notes fields. But,
if I Republish Assignments...it does update any changes to the notes fields.
I have tested on two different systems with the same results. Is this a
documented bug?

Stumped:

As designed. The only thing that classifies a task as "changed" is when
dates change. So, keep using the republish feature when you make changes
that do not affect dates.
