Notes page doesn't relfect font size changes

I'm using PPT 2007. When I add notes to slides I often change font color and
size. The changes are not reflected on the screen but, when printed, show
the changes I made. Have I missed an option somewhere that will show the
notes in WYSIWYG?

The notes font color and size changes are shown in the Notes Page view.
Those formatting are not shown in the Notes section in Normal view. To see
the Notes Page view, select "View" tab, click "Notes Page" button.

No you shouldn't. It's not obvious at all. I thought it was a bug or maybe it is?
