Notice that you can edit sent and received e-mails?

Has anybody else noticed that you can edit sent and received e-mails? You can
literally open up and e-mail somebody sent you, and cut, paste, copy, or type
whatever you want. You could make it look like your co-worker, Bob Smith said
"I'm a pretty little girl in a pink tutu." Am I the only one who finds this
feature really stupid? First off, once you've sent an e-mail, you can edit
the e-mail in your sent box all you want, but the person still has and saw
the e-mail as it was before you edited it. Plus, why in the world would you
want to edit an e-mail that was sent to you other than for your own
amusement? This feature makes no sense at all.

It might not make sense to you, but many people edit their received email messages to make notes on the issue discussed in the message.
