Notifications not working after Snow Leopard

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: Exchange

I upgraded to Snow Leopard and now the notifications in Entourage for new mail, sent mail etc are not working. I have read other pre-Snow Leopard posts about this problem and the suggested fixes don't work. Any one else had this experience?
