What is the character limit for task descriptions in the notification and
reminder e-mail messages? Is this limit adjustable?
My very specific task descriptions that read well in the project plan appear
truncated in the e-mail reminders -- often rendering them useless.
I have been unable to find any mention of best practice for naming tasks.

Hi jim,
I've been "playing" with the whole notification peice a little recently.
I've not seen anywhere where this can be set.

However, if you have developer resources at your disposal, the SDK details
how to change the email alert formats, so this would be your best (only?)
route.
