Notify team member of workday change

NewsGroup

I have created an administrative project and published it.
I have built team from Enterprise.
All the resources are able to view the tasks in the administrative project.
I have given all the permissions only for few users.
Only those few users are able to see "Notify Manager of Workday Change"
option.
Others are not able to view this.
Can anyone tell me the permission that has to be given to make my team
members see this option?

By default, all members of the Team Members group have the "Change Work
Days" permission set to Allow. This allows them to see the "Notify your
manager of time you will not be available for project work" link in the
sidepane of the View My Tasks page. Have you edited the permissions for
individual users, by chance? If so, you need to control security for users
primarily through adding users to Groups, and modifying Groups only as
needed. You should rarely, if ever, edit an individual user account, and
only then as an overrride for Group permissions. Let us know.

You are more than welcome, my friend. By the way, did you ever purchase
either of our company's two books on Project Server 2003? I think they
would address many of the questions you have about Project Server and would
save you much time and frustration. Just a thought. Hope this helps.
