Now Excel does not launch/run..receiving error message.

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Hi;
I have used Excel 2008 on my MacBookPro for months and now all of a sudden I get an error message that says: "The application Microsoft Excel quit unexpectedly"
It also says that Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
Hitting the relaunch button does not work.

Any ideas on how to get excel to run again on my PC?
