Hi,
Yes. You can Protect & Unprotect Any Excel Sheet via VBA provided you have
set the correct password in VBA. Users who use your Macro will not be
prompted for password. However, they will still be able to edit, save,
extract data but under the control of VBA programming.

I have written a VBA MACRO with above intention. All you need to do is using
VBA Programming to input <Filename>, <Path> and <Password> into the file
which I have developed, with the command pasted into your MACRO. You may edit
anything in the hidden mode via VBA, then save it, extract data, edit data.
The best part is, All are done in hidden mode. Thus, your user WILL NOT have
a chance to view or knowing what is behind the screen.
