NT On-Access Scanner Service

To anyone that can help

When I start Windows XP and my computer boots up, I recieve a message about the NT On-Access Scanner Service. "NT On-Access Scanner Service has encountered a problem and needs to close...." What can I do to fix the problem

NT On-Access Scanner is part of McAfee's products. Please reinstall them or
contact McAfee.
