nudge distance adjustable?

After placing an object, I can move it slightly with the arrow keys (other
graphics programs called this nudging). Is there a way to specify how much
distance is moved by each nudge? I could not find anything in help.

I'm trying to position a door 4 feet away from the edge of a wall, but I can
only get it within 1/8 inch. Apparently each nudge moves 1/4 in.

Hi Peter,

Try the View > Size & Position window. You can put the door on the edge of
the wall, then in the X or Y field, you can actually type in math -- you can
add "+ 4ft" to the value.

If your door/wall is at an angle, this won't work as well (you'll have to
use Sin/Cos!!)

Also there's a nifty Move add-on, located under Tools > Add-ons > Visio
Extras > Move Shapes... You can reposition shapes either x-y- or polar-wise.
And you can enter formulas for the values as well!
