Null error.

We have a user who's office apps when launched come up with an error box
saying Null error.
I tried a re-install of office 2000 premium, but this has no remedy to the
issue.

Any clues?

Just to add more accurate information:

The actual error message says:

"(null) is not a valid Win32 application."

This is on a Toshiba Satellite Pro laptop.

Just any1 that has the problem...I discovered that updating to Office SR1a
