Does anyone know how to show the number of days past the start date i
MS Project? For example, the task starts on 12/1 and I want to sho
that 2 business days have passed since then?

I tried to create a formula in the Columns section that subtracts th
Finish Date from the Start Date but it doesn't give me the value I'
looking for

Thanks - sorry to bother but this is what I did and I get an erro
message:

I edited the formula in the Customize Fields section to show:
[Project Start] - ProjDateDiff([Finish] ,[Start] ,Task Calendar)

Is this formula correct? Is it because I didn't enter the correct Tas
Calendar

Hello jshuang,

You likely got an answer in minutes. Try the following formula in a
number field:

ProjDateDiff([Project Start],[Start])/[Minutes Per Day]

This will show the number of days between the start of the Project
and the start of the task.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
